O diabetes gestacional, assim como o diabetes \u201cconvencional\u201d, <strong>\u00e9 um dist\u00farbio que atrapalha a maneira como o corpo utiliza o a\u00e7\u00facar (glicose)<\/strong>. Todas as c\u00e9lulas do nosso corpo necessitam de glicose para funcionar normalmente. A glicose adentra as c\u00e9lulas por meio de um horm\u00f4nio chamado insulina.
